PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthesis chamber capable of efficiently capturing a gaseous radioactive material generated from the synthesis chamber for synthesizing18F-FDG (fluorodeoxyglucose) for use in positron emission tomography while monitoring the gaseous radioactive material. SOLUTION: In the synthesis chamber for synthesizing18F-FDG (fluorodeoxyglucose) for use in the positron emission tomography as diagnostic pharmaceutical, an active carbon fiber filter for removing the radioactive material is provided at an exhaust port of the synthesis chamber, and a radiation measurement device for measuring the amount of radiation is mounted on each side of an upstream side and a downstream side of the active carbon fiber filter.
