PURPOSE: A method of forming a cutting assistant line is provided to form a cutting assistant line on a film regardless of the thickness of a film. CONSTITUTION: A packing material for food forms a cutting assistant line on a film in a groove form by applying ultrasonic wave in a horn(200) after inserting part of packing material into the horn and a supporter. The width of one-way at least becomes narrow of the receiver membe according to face the leading end. The ultrasonic wave is applied in horn while the tension of the width direction of the tip of the receiver ash and the direction meeting at right angle actuates on the film inserted into horn and supporter. The cut supporting line expanded as the width direction of the tip of the receiver ash and the direction meeting at right angle is formed on film.
