<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device and an inspection method for a constant speed universal joint, capable of obtaining a stable working angle torque, and shortening the inspection time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A shaft member 16 is suitable for the internal joint member relative to an outer joint member with an internal part 12 internally fitted thereto. The shaft member 16 is inclined at a predetermined angle relative to an axis line L of the outer joint member. In this state, the working angle torque which is a bending torque is detected.
