The invention relates to a method for producing a short-arc discharge lamp (10), a short-arc discharge lamp (10) produced using such a method, and an electrode (16) for such a short-arc discharge lamp (10). In such a method, an electrode (16) comprising a duct (32) is provided and is sealed into a discharge vessel (12) of the short-arc discharge lamp (10). The duct (32) establishes a connection between the discharge chamber (14) of the short-arc discharge lamp (10) and the ambient air. The discharge chamber (14) is first purged using a purge gas via the duct (32), is then evacuated, and is filled with a filler gas. The duct (32) is finally closed after freezing the filler gas. The method makes it possible to produce mechanically more stable and thus more explosion-proof short-arc discharge lamps (10). |
