The three dimensional safety camera (10) has a semiconductor light source (22) having a high optical output above ten Watts, to impress a lighting sample (26) at a spatial area with an intensity, which permits the production of a close depth map for a safe evaluation independent of fluctuations of the environmental light within the spatial area. A filter pre-regulates image sensors, which transmits light only in the frequency range of the semiconductor source light. An independent claim is included for a safe three-dimensional monitoring method for the security of a spatial area. |
