PURPOSE: A handcart for ascending and descending stairs is provided to ascend and descend on stairs by attaching cross wheels to a main wheel. CONSTITUTION: A handcart comprises a pair of main wheels(10), and a cross wheel. The cross wheel is respectively and detachably combined in a pair of main wheels. The cross hair wheel comprises two auxiliary wheel shafts and auxiliary wheels. The additional wheel is combined to two additional wheel shaft both ends. A plurality of attaching/detaching parts is formed in the main wheel. A plurality of auxiliary attaching/detaching parts corresponding to attaching/detaching parts is formed in the cross wheel. The cross hair wheel is detachably combined in the main wheel as a fixing member(30) is inserted into attaching/detaching parts and auxiliary attaching/detaching parts.
