PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a banding apparatus which accurately performs banding with a band sheet, labelling, or the like without burdening an operator. SOLUTION: The banding apparatus in which a merchandise article is placed at a predetermined position, and a band sheet (a) is issued along the outer periphery of the merchandise article, and the sheet is wound around the merchandise article, includes label issuing means A2 for issuing a label L where information relating the merchandise article W is printed, memory means for storing issuing form information representing whether to issue or not to issue the band sheet (a) and/or the label L corresponding to the merchandise article, calling means for calling a predetermined merchandise article from the memory means, and control means 56 for controlling the issuance of the label and the band sheet on the basis of the information called by the calling means.
