<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which can process fault information efficiently when a fault or abnormality occurs in a streaming information processor such as a digital television or a set top box (STB). <P>SOLUTION: In the fault information processing system, the streaming information processor 1 acquires the known fault information beforehand through a network 30, compares the fault information generated from the streaming information processor 1 with the known fault information, delays or restrains transmission of the generated fault information to a fault information collection server 20 if the generated fault information includes the information identical to the known fault information, otherwise transmits the generated fault information to the fault information collection server 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
