PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate an achievable power production of a turbine of a wind power generator operated at a reduced electric power setting point.

SOLUTION: In a method for estimating an achievable power production of the turbine of the wind power generator operated at a reduced power setting point, at least two parameter values indicating operation state of the turbine are determined, at least the two parameter values are input to a neural network, and output value which is an estimated value of the achievable power production of the turbine is output from the neural network.
