PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist singing by extracting a highly difficult singing section by referring to performance data, and notifying about the highly difficult singing section previously only by displaying a lyric caption. SOLUTION: The system comprises: a highly difficult singing section setting means 50 which refers to correspondent performance data for each display unit of an arbitrary musical piece, and sets a high-difficulty category flag showing a category of a high-difficulty code for the display unit including the highly difficult singing code of the category which is set beforehand, and stores it in a song-based highly difficult singing section database 46c; and a highly difficult display control means 55a which refers to the song-based highly difficult singing section database 46c, and when the high-difficulty category flag is set for an arbitrary display unit, displays the lyric caption of the display unit so as to be discriminated from the lyric caption of the display unit with no high-difficulty category flag set thereto.
