<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency use lighting device 16 for clearly notifying detection of life of an electrolytic capacitor C2, and surely lighting an LED 14 with a battery 17 as a power source at stoppage of a commercial power source e. Ž<P>SOLUTION: After a component life detection means 52 detects life of the electrolytic capacitor C2, lighting of the LED 14 by a regular lighting circuit 30 is stopped, whole charging of the battery 17 by a charging circuit 27 and lighting of the LED 14 by an emergency lighting circuit 28 at stoppage of the commercial power source e are allowed. By lighting off of the LED 14, detection of the life of the electrolyte capacitor C2 is notified. Even if the LED 14 is put off, the LED 14 is to be lit with the battery 17 as a power source by the emergency lighting circuit 28 at stoppage of the commercial power source e.
