<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger preventing a brazing failure between portions constituting a flow passage formation body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An oil cooler includes a plurality of flat hollow bodies 2 arranged leaving intervals. The flat hollow body 2 comprises: a pair of flat plates 10, 11; and the flow passage formation body 12 arranged between both flat plates 10, 11. Through-holes 13 are formed at both ends of both flat plates 10, 11. The flow passage formation body 12 has: a pair of side bars 14; a heat transfer area expansion part 15 formed integrally with both side bars 14; and end bars 16 formed integrally at both ends of both side bars 14, respectively, extended to the inner side in the width direction of the flat hollow body 2, 2A and having ends abutting on each other and brazed. Covering walls 23 provided along inner faces of both end bars 16 and covering abutment parts of the ends of both end bars 16 are integrally formed at both ends of one flat plate 11, and are brazed to both end bars 16.
