<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing machine which can surely deliver a machine plate to a plate discharging mechanism irrespective of the distance between a cover body, having the plate discharging mechanism, and a plate cylinder, and open/close the cover body smoothly. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the printing machine having the plate discharging mechanism for discharging the plate outside, the plate discharging mechanism includes: conveying means 61-64 for conveying the machine plate Q from the plate cylinder 2c toward the outside; and a plate discharging guide body 60 which is arranged between the conveying means 61 and 62 and the plate cylinder 2c, and induces the machine plate Q from the plate cylinder 2c to the conveying means 61 and 62. The plate discharging guide body 60 with its base end side shakably attached to the cover body 4 can be changed over to an evacuation posture to evacuate along the cover body 4 and an advance posture E2 to advance from the cover body 4 toward the plate cylinder 2c. Cam mechanisms 71 and 72a are installed between the plate discharging guide body 60 and the frame of a printing unit so that the plate discharging guide body becomes the advance posture E2 at a position where the cover body 4 closes, and becomes the evacuation posture at the other positions.
