<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grass dividing apparatus of a harvester, which enables to easily confirm a grass-dividing position in front of the grass divider even on a night work to enhance the efficiency of the reaping work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This grass dividing apparatus of the harvester is characterized by disposing an illuminating lamp (16) for forward illumination on the back side of each grass divider (11) for laterally dividing standing grain straws, forming one or all portions of the grass divider (11) from a transparent material (18) enabling to see through, and disposing a grass-dividing guide rod (19) for pushing up and guiding divided grain straws on the upper side in the front central portion of the grass divider in a forward and upward projected state. The grass divider (11) is preferably formed in a posture capable of being vertically swung and opened or closed on the upper end side as a fulcrum. The right grass divider (11R) placed on the most reaped field side among the grass dividers (11) is formed in a structure capable of being laterally rotated on a vertical axis center (21) by remote operations from a driving operation position.
