PURPOSE: A method for measuring a gap change between the axis and the sealing packing of a turbine is provided to improve safety by enabling a user to easily and previously recognize and analyze the problems of a turbine. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring a gap change between the axis and the sealing packing of a turbine is as follows. A lug is installed in the top of a gland housing of a turbine casing. A measuring machine for a gap change of a sealing packing is installed in the lug, and measures the gap change of the sealing packing. The measuring machine is a digital indicator or a micrometer.
