<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile device such as an IC card which may not be used for crime by a malicious third party without losing convenience which the device inherently has. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile device which is operated by performing transmission and reception to and from a terminal device has a means 53 for performing transmission and reception to and from the terminal device, and a means 56 for reading a fingerprint, performing fingerprint authentication on the read fingerprint, and exempting fingerprint authentication for a predetermined period after the success of the fingerprint authentication wherein, only when it is confirmed that a person is a legitimate owner by the success of the fingerprint authentication, transmission and reception to and from the terminal device is put into an operating state, and after the authentication exempting period has been elapsed, a transmission and reception section is put into an inactive state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
