PURPOSE: A service switching system for calling in ERBT providing communication environment and a method thereof are provided to switch a voice call service and a video call service freely according to selection of a subscriber for calling by transferring related information about service switchable fact of a receiving terminal to an originating mobile. CONSTITUTION: In order to offer ERBT(Early Ring Back Tone) to an originating terminal(10a), an originating exchanger(40a) informs service switching enable fact of a receiving terminal(10b) to the originating terminal according to service switching enable notification information of a receiving exchanger(40b) before assignment of a wireless access bearer about the originating terminal. If the service switching enable fact of the receiving terminal is grasped before assignment of a wireless access bearer about the receiving terminal, the receiving exchanger performs a service switch in calling between the originating terminal and the receiving terminal.
