PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional food not only reducing ingestion energy but also suppressing a rise of a blood glucose level after ingesting.

SOLUTION: This functional staple food 1 is obtained by mixing white rice 10 as polished rice, rice grain Konjak 20 whose external form is fitted to an external form of the rice, and rice grain oats 30 as a functional food material containing much β glucan and resistant starch. The rice grain oats 30 have an external form fitted to an external form of the rice and comprise fiber-snow having a low polyphenol content.
