<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap of a ball point pen which has a simple constitution and can easily accept an elastic material in the insertion part of a mechanical subgroup. <P>SOLUTION: In the cap of the ball point pen which has an insertion part arranged with an elastic body for sealing the tip of a ball point pen embracing a ball in a freely rotating manner, the insertion part is formed at the tip of a cap body.
