A GPS gunfire detection system, where a GPS is arranged within a gunfire and includes a GPS receptor circuit, a microprocessor, a wireless transmission circuit and a detector. The detector is able to detect several operational circumstances of the gunfire, the detected data being transmitted to the microprocessor. Moreover, the GPS receptor circuit receives satellite coordinate signals referring to the geographical position, which are matched with data previously stored within a geographical data base in order to obtain the position of the gunfire, the position being subsequently transmitted to the microprocessor. Consequently, the microprocessor receives the position of the gunfire from the GPS receptor circuit, while obtaining the operational circumstances of the gunfire from the detector; the information is then transmitted to a remote server using the wireless transmission circuit for obtaining a reference thereof.
