<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input/output device which enables a person to be aware of a touch-object point by means of his (or her) sense of touch to enable even a person with impaired vision to operate the device itself. <P>SOLUTION: The input/output device includes a plurality of structures which are arranged in a matrix state. In addition, each structure is composed of: a display device which displays images indicating touch objects; a touch-detecting device which is arranged on an operator's side on the display device and detects that a finger of the operator touches the touch-detecting device itself; and a touch panel-moving device which is arranged on the opposite side to the operator's side on the display device. When the display device of each structure displays the images indicating being the touch objects, the touch panel-moving device of the structure concerned moves its own display device and touch panel-detecting device vertically to the display face of its own display device to enable the operator to be aware of a point which he (or she) can operate by means of his (or her) sense of vision and sense of touch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
