<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect and set information even in a state that communication using an IP layer becomes impossible. <P>SOLUTION: In the network management system 1, an NMEO manager 10 generates a loop-back frame to which a command to an NMEO agent 20 is added, and transmits the generated loop-back frame to the NMEO agent 20. Then, the NMEO agent 20 is provided with an NMEO DB 27 storing setting information which is the information about the setting of the present device and statistical information which is the information statistically taken from the communication of the present device, and accesses the NMEO DB 27 correspondingly to the command added to the loop-back when the loop back frame is received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
