A dry rectifier assembly comprises a cupshaped portion 1 containing a rectifier element 4 with an aperture 2 for the first electrode and which is externally threaded so that it may be screwed into a helical spring 5 which has a bent portion 6 contacting a spacer connected to the rectifier to provide the other electrode. The threaded portion does not extend to the end of cup member 1, thereby to provide a region over which spring 5 is tensioned.</p> |
