The present invention relates to a scroll compressor comprising: a housing; a driving unit for generating a rotating force; a scroll compression unit including a fixed scroll constituted by an involute scroll wrap for compressing sucked in fluid and fixed irrespective of the rotation of a driving shaft of the driving unit, a rotary scroll which rotates in accordance with the rotation of the driving shaft and has an involute scroll wrap coupled to the scroll wrap of the fixed scroll; a main frame arranged in the housing, and which supports the rear surface of the rotary scroll, and has an interior with a back pressure chamber; and a thrust plate interposed between the rotary scroll and the main frame, and a sealing member inserted between the rotary scroll and the main frame. The sealing member includes a first sealing member inserted between the rotary scroll and the thrust plate, and a second sealing member inserted between the thrust plate and the main frame. The present invention includes the high hardness thrust member inserted in the friction area between the rotary scroll and the main frame to minimize the increase in mass, to prevent wear in the friction area, and to prevent the breakage and the degradation in the efficiency of the compressor. |
