<p>An electrode foil for a capacitor is provided with a base material composed of a valve action metal foil, and a rough surface layer provided on the base material. The rough surface layer has a base layer provided on the base material, and a cover layer provided on the base layer. The base layer is composed of a plurality of first fine particles composed of the valve action metal. The cover layer is composed of a plurality of second fine particles composed of the valve action metal. The average diameter of the first fine particles is larger than that of the second fine particles. The electrode foil has the rough surface layer which can be stably manufactured by deposition, and an electrolytic capacitor having a large capacity can be obtained.</p> |
