<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a product class switching operator which prevents the deterioration of an operating rate of the operator, surely allocates the operator to switching operation even if a plurality of switching operations are overlapped, and performs allocation with higher reliability and practicability. <P>SOLUTION: The planning method for the product class switching operator which determines the allocation of the operator to each switching operation includes steps of: creating product class switching data according to production schedule plan data by an information processing apparatus and allocating a tentative operator to each switching operation of the product class switching data; creating candidate operator allocation data by extracting an actual operator who is allocatable during each predetermined term from calendar data of the allocatable/non-allocatable operator; and replaces the tentative operator of the tentative plan data with the actual operator according to the candidate operator allocation data.
