PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheathing structure to reinforce a sheathing roof board even when the sheathing roof board which is used is less strong, and to form a roof having a superior heat insulating property. SOLUTION: The sheathing structure is provided with a plurality of rafters 3 etc. arranged parallel, a plurality of supporting members 1 etc. fitted and extended between adjacent rafters 3, 3 at a plurality of longitudinal positions of the rafters 3 etc., the sheathing roof board 4 fitted to the rafters 3 etc. and the supporting members 1 etc., and a sheet member 2 arranged between and along the adjacent rafters 3, 3. Each of the supporting members 1 is formed into a substantially U-letter shape in cross section having an upper supporting member 12 and a lower supporting member 13 on both upper and lower ends of a supporting and connecting member 11, respectively, and opening in a longitudinal direction of the rafter 3. The sheet member 2 is supported by being engaged with the lower supporting member 13 of each of the supporting members 1.
