<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread tension device with high flexibility capable of using even different kinds of threads by requiring very short time to be spent. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This thread tension device 1 has an inlet guide 5, an outlet guide 6 and a thread drum 3 between the guides 5 and 6. The thread drum 3 has a rotation axis 22 and an operation region 14. A thread path is extended in a peripheral direction between the inlet guide 5 and the outlet guide 6 on the operation region 14.
