<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce energy required for melting in centrifugal casting by utilizing chips generated in the production process of a centrifugally cast product or the production process of the other products. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Base material metal chips are beforehand charged to a die in a centrifugal casting device, thus centrifugal force application by the rotation of the die, and, if required, the preheating of the die are performed, the metal base material molten metal melted in a melting furnace is made to flow into the die during the rotation, and the chips beforehand charged to the die are melted, thus the centrifugal casting in which energy required for melting is reduced is performed.
