PURPOSE: A bus lane monitoring system is provided to accurately detect a violating vehicle in a bus lane by monitoring the front and rear of a bus in real time. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring camera(30) takes a photograph of a bus lane and a bus lane dividing line together. A camera position controller(50) adjusts the photographic coverage of a monitoring camera. A video reading part(40) recognizes the number plate of a violating vehicle. A controller(60) controls the camera position controller.
