MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF BATTERY

PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing a battery are provided to set various levels of a discharging termination voltage for a cell balancing operation using the voltage value of each cell in the battery. CONSTITUTION: A cell balancing unit(40) is performed a cell balancing operation with respect to a plurality of cells. A micro control unit(MCU)(20) measures the voltage of the cells. According to the result of the measured voltages, a cell which requires a cell balancing operation is detected. The MCU controls the cell balancing unit until the voltage of the cell which requires the cell balancing operation becomes a discharging termination voltage.
