PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturizable battery monitoring device having high reliability. SOLUTION: This battery monitoring device includes a mounting substrate having a long and narrow shape, and an imposed semiconductor device for monitoring the battery. The semiconductor device for monitoring the battery includes first and second electrodes arranged on both sides across a tab, and a first electrode is connected to a plurality of first pads of a semiconductor chip corresponding thereto through a plurality of first wires, and a second electrode is connected to a second pad of the semiconductor chip corresponding thereto through one second wire. The rear surface side of the tab and the first and second electrodes is imposed on the electrode on the mounting substrate by a bonding material. In the first electrode having a long and narrow shape in the shortwise direction orthogonal to the lengthwise direction, each one end of a plurality of wires is aligned in the shortwise direction and connected thereto, and in the second electrode having a rectangular shape wherein the length in the shortwise direction is shorter than that of the first electrode and the outermost side in the lengthwise direction is positioned along the lengthwise direction on the furthermore inside than the outermost side of the first electrode, one end of the wire is connected thereto.
