PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system where a person can make a nurse call by using a cordless handset of the nurse call from a temporary bed in a hospital and a nurse can easily identify the patient operating the nurse call even if it is calling from the temporary bed. SOLUTION: A nurse call system includes a layout memory part where a wireless handset for nurse call is connected to an outlet device, it is set in a hospital room and a corridor, the connection/unconnection of the wireless handset of nurse call is detected, and the connection/unconnection signal is formed at the outlet device while a controller memorizes the position information of the outlet device, and a controller CPU where the position of the outlet device generating the connection signal is received from the layout memory part and the wireless handset connection signal including the position information is formed and transmitted to the nurse call base unit, and the nurse call base unit has a display 20 displaying a layout A of a hospital ward, and the position of the connected wireless handset for nurse call is displayed with a bed mark D on the display 20 based on the wireless handset connection signal.
