It is an object to provide a judgment device or a judgment method that judges the reliability of individual data or a database of biological information. A judgment system is characterized in comprising a judgment subject biological information acquisition unit (400) that acquires a first item and a second item from judgment subject biological information including the first item and the second item, a comparison biological information acquisition unit (410) that acquires a first distribution range indicative of a distribution of a relation between the first item and the second item with respect to a reference biological information group including the first item and the second item, a relevance degree judgment unit (420) that compares the relation between the first item and the second item on the judgment subject biological information with the first distribution range to judge the first degree of a relevance between judgment biological information and the reference biological information group. Such a judgment system is provided to judge the degree of the relevance between the judgment subject biological information and the reference biological information group.
