<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size, by using an antenna in common, by enabling communication with the vehicle side, even if a mounting battery is consumed. <P>SOLUTION: This portable machine includes: a power source part 20; a coil antenna 21 for receiving a starting signal transmitted from the on-vehicle machine 1 side; a transponder 22 operating based on the starting signal receiving by the coil antenna 21 and sending back a response signal corresponding to the starting signal from the coil antenna 21; an RF transmission antenna 23 sending back the response signal to the on-vehicle machine 1 side; and a microcomputer 24 operating by electric power supplied from the power source part 20 and outputting the response signal corresponding to the starting signal from the RF transmission antenna 23 by receiving the starting signal.
