PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block copolymer including a vinyl monomer having a carbazole group and a conjugated vinyl monomer, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The block copolymer includes a polymer block of the vinyl monomer having a carbazole group and a polymer block of the conjugated vinyl monomer.
