<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately set the driving capacity of a driver circuit according to the characteristics of a printer. <P>SOLUTION: The driver circuit is formed of a shift register 1, a print data holding circuit 2, a control data holding circuit 3 and an output circuit 4. The output circuit 4 outputs an output voltage corresponding to the print data Data2 held by the control data holding circuit 3.
