The method involves transporting transparent packaging material (4) filled with a protein solution, where filling volume is less than or equal to hundred milliliter. The filled primary packaging is bypassed at a camera (1a) with illumination. The image detection is controlled by an external trigger (3). An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for optical level measurement.
