PURPOSE: To provide fine powder of >=6000 in plane specific surface area by classifying the pulverized feed formed by pulverizing the feed to the plane specific surface area of 4300 to 800 cm<2> /g, then capturing the resultant classified fine powder in a capturing stage. CONSTITUTION: The pulverized feed formed to the plane specific surface area of 4300 to 800 cm<2> /g is charged into a classifying machine 3 by a screw feeder 2. The classified fine powder classified by the pneumatic classifying machine 3 having a rotor rotated by a motor 14 is introduced by a conduit 12 into a cyclone 5. The fine powder of the plane specific surface area of 600 to 12000 cm<2> /g is primarily captured by this cyclone 5. The primarily captured fine powder is discharged and recovered from the cyclone 5 by opening a rotary valve 6. On the other hand, the classified coarse powder classified by the classifying machine 3 is discharged through a coarse powder discharge pipe 13 by opening a rotary valve 4.
