A tablet dispensing device comprising: a device body (1); tablet cassettes (2) in which tablets are contained on a type-by-type basis, which are arranged at the front face of the device body (1) so as to lie next to each other in the top-bottom direction, and which are adapted to dispense the tablets sideways therefrom; and chutes (3) which are arranged in the top-bottom direction at the front face of the device body (1) so as to correspond to the tablet cassettes (2) and so as to be each located at a side of each of the tablet cassettes (2) arranged next to each other, which temporarily contain dispensed tablets, and which each have, at the lower part thereof, a dispensing section capable of dispensing tablets to a tubular tablet container (6) having a bottom.
