PURPOSE: A shift pattern control method for an automatic transmission is provided to cut-off fuel based on revolution per minute(RPM) during a slip direct coupling control in an electronic control unit by performing a slip direct coupling control. CONSTITUTION: Whether the state of a power-off is a deceleration speed is verified. If the state of the power-off is the deceleration speed, a damper clutch is slip direct coupled. A fuel is cut-off for every shift down section(1, 2, 3) during a slip direct coupling process. |
