PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to reduce power consumption by outputting a proper gate high voltage according to the surrounding temperature. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel(102) comprises a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines. The liquid crystal panel displays an image. A gate driver(104) drives a plurality of gate lines. A data driver(106) supplies a data signal to a plurality of data lines. A power supply unit generates the gate high voltage and the driving voltage of the gate and the gate driver. A gate high voltage varying unit(112) divides the gate high voltage according to the surrounding temperature. The gate high voltage varying unit supplies the divided gate high voltage to the gate driver.
