PURPOSE: A sand loading apparatus for a shaft furnace is provided to reduce accidents by connecting a feed hopper to construction heavy equipment so as to transfer sand to a desired position. CONSTITUTION: A sand loading apparatus for a shaft furnace comprises a feed hopper and an opening/closing plate. The feed hopper includes a connector and an inlet port and keeps sand inside. The connector is connected to construction heavy equipment(50). The opening/closing plate is formed in the inlet port of the feed hopper and slid up and down so as to open or close the inlet port.
