PURPOSE: A seat belt retractor for a vehicle is provided to determine whether a passenger is male or female according to the draw length of webbing without an electrical seat track position system. CONSTITUTION: A seat belt retractor for a vehicle comprises a spool(100) and a seat belt. The spool comprises a body(110) and a center shaft(120) formed in the axial direction in the middle of the body. The seat belt is rolled in the body of the spool and the draw length thereof is controlled according to the rotation of the spool. The center shaft is projected in the body and coupled with a rotator(200) which rotates along with the rotation of the spool. A rotational angle sensing unit detecting the rotation angle of the rotator is connected to the rotator.
