PURPOSE: An apparatus for transferring casting sand is provided to enable a user to directly collect a sample and a small amount of casting sand on a conveyor belt supplying the casting sand to a work position from a storage hopper, to improve inspection simplicity of the casting sand, and to prevent the waste of the casting sand. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for transferring casting sand comprises: an installation frame(1) which is fixed to a frame to be located on the upper side of a conveyor belt(C) transferring the casting sand in a storage hopper(H); a blocking plate(2) which is installed in the installation frame and is constituted to discharge the casting sand to the side of the conveyor belt; and a discharge plate(3) which is installed in the installation frame to make the blocked casting sand to drop.
