PURPOSE: A variable expansion carcass drum of a building machine having a small diameter is provided to eliminate the interference with an edge part of a carcass by variably changing the diameter of the drum when a bead part is attached to the carcass. CONSTITUTION: A variable expansion carcass drum of a building machine having a small diameter includes drum sectors which are connected to each inclination slider. Push sliders of a lateral moving shaft contact with a slope(8) of the inclination slider. The push sliders vary the diameter of the drum by expanding or reducing the drum sectors along the movement of the lateral moving shaft. The lateral moving shaft is composed of left and right lateral moving shafts(3a,3b) based on the center of the drum.
