PURPOSE: An image encoding/decoding method and an apparatus based on a motion estimation are provided to remove the temporal and spatial redundancy of image. CONSTITUTION: An image encoder transforms an input image in a motion estimation base through the photo core transform(S410). The image encoder encodes the transformed image to the variable length code. The image encoder transmits the encoded image to an image decoder device(S420). The image decoder device recompenses the operation about the received bit stream(S430). The image decoder device decodes the bit stream. |
