CARBON/EPOXY LAMINATED COMPOSITE AND METHOD TO PRODUCE THE SAME

PURPOSE: A carbon/epoxy laminate composite and producing method thereof are provided to improve the fracture toughness of the composite by effectively controlling the generation of a crack from a delamination between fiber layers using a stitching. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a carbon/epoxy laminate composite with the improved fracture toughness for a crack comprises the following: laminating carbon/epoxy prepreg; scattering iron powder on the laminated carbon/epoxy prepreg; laminating another carbon/epoxy prepreg on the scattered iron powder for forming a laminated composite; and curing the laminated composite using an autoclave.
