PURPOSE: A device and a method for simply upgrading a vehicle broadcasting module are provided to transmit data for updating outdoor broadcasting module through an external device in CAN communication way to external broadcasting module, thereby effectively performing updating external broadcasting module. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting module(301) and an external device(307) is comprised in a vehicle. The external device transmits upgrade data to the broadcasting module. The external device transmits the upgrade data to a decoder(301b) through a CAN(Controller Area Network) transceiver(301c) and microcomputer(301a). The decoder performed self upgrade. The MICOM is upgraded by the upgrade data. |
