<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow digital broadcasts to be easily and surely determined to be simultaneous broadcasts in a digital broadcast receiver for receiving two digital broadcasts including captions. <P>SOLUTION: A digital broadcast receiver 10 receives a first digital broadcast (one-segment broadcast or the like) and a second digital broadcast (12-segment broadcast or the like). The digital broadcast receiver 10 includes a first signal separation part 11 which extracts a first caption from a stream of the one-segment broadcast, a second signal separation part 21 which extracts a second caption from a stream of the 12-segment broadcast, and a caption text comparison part 3 which compares the first caption and the second caption and determines the one-segment broadcast and the 12-segment broadcast to be simultaneous broadcasts in coincidence between the first caption and the second caption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
